Here at McFarland Lutheran Church one of the ways we encourage people “to grow deeper into Jesus and the community that bears his name” is to spend time discovering the God given gifts and talents you’ve been given and to use them to serve God. We believe that every member is a minister and that every ministry is important. We are dependent on God and on each other as the body of Christ.
We encourage you to discover your gifts and talents and find your ministry. The ministry of this congregation is shaped by the gifts and talents of its friends and members.

Adopt-A-Highway
One way you can share your time is by getting involved in our Adopt-A-Highway clean-up. McFarland Lutheran Church is responsible for clean-up along Hwy B, ¾ of a mile east and west of Dunn Town Hall. This is done three times a year, in the spring, summer, and fall.
Affirmation of Baptism (Confirmation) Teachers
These teachers love middle & high school students and want to help nurture and grow their students faith.

Care of Creation Ministry Team
Here at McFarland Lutheran Church the Care of Creation Ministry Team seeks to increase our awareness of God’s love for all creation and to recognize our call to participate in the care of God’s creation. Ministries include starting a congregational garden, beginning a prairie restoration area on Church grounds, holding an Earth Day event each spring, sharing information about composting and providing educational information about ways to conserve energy at home and in our church building. Child Life Ministry (CLM) Board
Child Life Ministry (CLM) Board assists with decisions concerning the policies, activities, and budget of CLM (Preschool, Rainbow Center Child Care and School Age Care).
Child Life Ministry Classroom Volunteer
This is an opportunity for you to share your time and talents with our Child Life Ministry programs.
Child Life Ministries Parent Group
Child Life Ministries Parent Group organizes fundraising for CLM programming, assists in planning some preschool events, and coordinates Teacher’s Appreciation Week.

Elizabeth Ministry
The Elizabeth Ministry of McFarland Lutheran Church provides support and encouragement for young mothers. This important ministry brings food and care to those families who have just experienced the birth of a child.
Finance Board
The Finance Board provides oversight of MLC financial activities. The board regularly reviews church accounts, money handling procedures and makes recommendations to promote good stewardship of the church’s finances.
Financial Giving
Here at McFarland Lutheran Church we have numerous opportunities for financial giving. We are glad to regularly invite the friends and members of this congregation to give financially.
Funeral Ministry Team
The Funeral Ministry Team provides care and concern for those who are grieving by providing funeral lunches and hospitality. If you like to cook, organize, serve and cleanup this ministry is for you.
