What programs does Child Life Ministries (CLM) offer?

CLM offers Tot Spot (2 ½-3 yr. olds), 3 Yr. Old Preschool and Pre-K Preschool, as 9 month programs (September through May).

We additionally offer child care for children who are 3-5 yrs. old at the Rainbow Center.  This program is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Children attending here must be concurrently enrolled in a preschool or 4K program with CLM.

After school care for children in kindergarten through 4th grade is available Monday through Friday from 2:45-5:30 p.m.  Care for children enrolled during the school year includes non-school and early release days.  During the summer, a full day program is available Monday through Friday from 7-5:30 p.m.

What ages does CLM serve?

Programs are available for children who are 30 months through 9 years by September 1st.

How do I register my child for your programs?

Please see our Admissions and Enrollment Information page.

When should I register my child?

Please see our Admissions and Enrollment Information page for enrollment dates.

How does the waiting list work?

A waiting list will be created and children will be placed on the list in the order in which their form was received.  If the session you desire is full, but there is space available during the alternate time slot you will be given a space in that session, while remaining on the waiting list for your preferred time.  If a space becomes available and your family is next on the list, the space is yours.  If no space becomes available, your name will remain on the waiting list and at the next registration you will be able to register with the in-house group by completing new paperwork, since the waiting list is cleared at the end of each session.

What qualifications does the staff have?

Each of our staff meets or exceeds the State of Wisconsin licensing requirements in Early Childhood Education and is CPR and 1st Aid Certified.  Additionally, each staff member has the required training in Shaken Baby and Abuse and Neglect.  The minimum training for our lead teachers is a CDA certificate.

All teachers are responsible for the curriculum development and meeting children’s individual needs.

Are meals provided?

Children attending our preschool programs are offered a snack each day.  A snack menu will be posted and includes a variety of foods, while adhering to the State of WI food guidelines.

Children attending our child care programs (Rainbow Center and School Age Summer and Extended breaks) will be offered a snack each day as well, going no longer than 3 hours without a snack or meal being offered. Lunches are to be brought from home for children. Additionally, please note that CLM is a peanut free zone. The snacks provided here will not include nut related allergens.  We ask that our families adhere to our peanut free environment for the safety and comfort of all of our students when sending special snacks and packing lunches.
