Second Chance Program

The Second Chance is a program for families that do not qualify for any other type of housing. McFarland Lutheran and Christ the King partner and support a family for two years by providing the rent for an apartment. The apartment is also furnished for the family. During that two years mentors are provided to help family members with budgeting, school work, etc. The parent(s) goes to school or secures employment during this time so that after the two-year period they are able to be on their own.

If you are interested in providing a second chance to a family that has gone through a rough time please contact our church office at 608-838-3184 or complete the Sharing Your Time and Talents form.
