Transforming Sunday School- Ages 3- 6th Grade
Here at McFarland Lutheran Church we provide educational opportunities for children age three through sixth grade through our Transforming Sunday School. Sunday School is held at 10:30 a.m. in the downstairs education rooms. Children study basic Bible stories and use Bible-based curriculum in a rotation format, visiting two different rotation stations each day. Sunday School Teachers
Sunday School Teachers prepare one lesson for each four-week rotation and present it twice each Sunday morning. The only adaptation they need to make is to accommodate the children at different age levels. Teachers teach for three Sundays and then have one Sunday off. We invite you to prayerfully consider using your gifts and talents to teach Sunday School. Sunday School Teacher Helpers

Sunday School Shepherds
Sunday School Shepherds get to know the kids on a first name basis as they lead them from one rotation station to another on Sunday mornings. Shepherds do not need to prepare a lesson, their main responsibility is to get to know and care about the children in their group. Sunday School/ Education Vision Team
The Sunday School/ Education Vision Team meets regularly to plan and promote educational events for our Sunday School age children. We invite you to prayerfully consider using your gifts and talents to help plan the educational programming for our Sunday School Children.
